Broken ground strap on 2002 Ford windstar

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have found a rotted
broken 1 wide ground
strap. On the chasis in
center of the rear door.
Bolted to the frame
near the exhaust. I can
not find the other end
anywhere???? The
strap was so rotted out
broke off when I did the
ole where can this wire
reach trick...lol... DOES
ANYONE KNOW
WHERE THIS STRAP
CONNECTS. IR A
DIAGRAM OF WHERE
IT CONNECT???

It matters not where you put it. Any place will do but you may have to drill a hole or find a bolt you can remove to bolt it on. No big deal.

Thank you for your quick reply!! So it should run from frame to body?? Would being rotted like this cause an issue with the auto doors acting up intermittently?

From the frame to the body. A bad ground can cause all sorts of electrical problems.
