The transmission is sealed so there is a specific procedure to check the fluid level in the vehicle. Absent an obvious leak, I doubt that is the problem. Time for a tranny shop visit.
Mine does the same now just hard shifting at first and did nt engage as fast as it was supposed too now it wont move if you find a fix let me know
My Ford Explorer wheel shift from Park to reverse to drive and so forth and so on but will not engage in any of the above- mentioned gears
