I don't believe Acura made the 3.2TL in 1996. The first year it was produced was in 1998.

120

there is only one way to find out. Get your ass on the highway and floor it, im thinkin 130- 140mph.

justin is right 130-140 all strung out ....thats in MPH by the way....the wind resistance becomes too much for the engine to push.....how fast it gets there is another story. shes a turd due to weight ....nice luxery car though, nice ride, and nice looking....Joe

no ... nobody drives over the speed limit do they.... if that were true, the town you live in would be dirt poor .. do you realize the money Local Government makes on speeders???

im not sure about a 96 but my 2000 has done 134. thats with a bad tranny and a beat up engine... i'd expect around 140 for a car in good condition

I have a 1996 3.2TL. I have gotten it up to ~120 and it didn't top out. It would also depend on the governer chip. Whatever that is set to is your top speed

I had a 96 tl in pretty decent condition. The absolute best it would do with nothing done/taken out of the engine is 125.

When I first got my 99 TL I got it up to 130mph. The tachometer was showing between the 6 and 7 in overdrive.

I just hit 130 on the expressway last night. Took a minute to get there beyond 110 but it made it. Car also has 173K miles on it.
