Is the plum crazy color on the 2007 daytona r/t, the same as in the 1970 charger?

I`m about to have a paint job on my 1970 charger originally plum crazy. Now I will use standox finishes and they offer a 2007 plum crazy version, which I assume is the one on the daytona r/t 2007. Of course the systems are very different but I would like to preserve the original color as much as possible. Are they a nice match or very different?

Dear ven70charger-- The experts for the answer to your question are at www.tcpglobal.com. They can show you the paint chips for the 1970 Charger, including plum crazy. Online they don't include models as late as 2007, but they do have a phone number listed and they will be able to compare the exact paint specs for you.
