I have replaced my run-flats with much quieter non-run-flat Michelins with the blessing from my Audi dealership (they installed them). They have terrific grip wet and dry. I then found a cookie spare from a local imports salvage yard - ran me $75 + tax - a cookie spare with the same diameter that fits on a Passat will fit, but the salvage yard had no trouble matching it up.
Is it possible to replace the runflats on an Audi TT 2008 quatro with standard tires without impacting the tire monitoring system?
