Door Ajar Light and Chime

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The "door ajar" light comes on as well as the chime. Have replaced the door
latch as well as the wiring harness from door to body.

You said "door latch". Door switch is what needs replaced or as Ed suggested, adjust it first. Might be corroded/stuck.

I as a layman misspoke. The part that latches to door striker is what was replaced. Where is the door switch, is that not what we are talking about?
