touchy gas pedal

Asked by drifter7 Jan 27, 2010 at 09:11 PM about the 2007 Pontiac Vibe Base

Question type: General

My wife has a 2007 Pontiac Vibe wagon Hatchback, I have noticed that you can not come down on the gas pedal too hard, or you will take off very fast.I compare it with a rifle or handgun with a hairtrigger. Does anyone else notice this fast acceleration when starting from a dead stop? Could use a little input with this problem. Thank You for any help.

I totally know what you're talking about. Had a similar experience with my Subaru Legacy. I just go easy on the pedal.
