fan motor still runs after key is off

fan speed does not change and fan will not shut off after turning key off

Witch fan? Radiator or cabin blower motor.

Then that would be the blower motor resistor needing to be replaced. Pull the wire connector off of the blower motor so it does not run your battery down.
