My radio system and DVD player do not work.

My radio system and DVD player does not work at all.  I was told it was probably
a fuse but of course it wasn't.    Do I need to replace the whole thing or can I have
it fixed?  It has the phone and radio together.  I only care about having a radio
and DVD player.   I also am having trouble finding anyone to put it in for me.  I am
in Dallas so you would think it would be no problem,  Same thing goes for
working on it.  I would appreciate any feed back about the radio!  Yes I am a
woman and have little to no knowledge about this.
