my saab makes a slight humming noise by shifter, is this normal or should i be concerned?

itcould be coming from the acc sensor is on the centre console beside the tcs button. mine buzzes away for ages after ive turned ign off

Mine does the same as David's. Maybe that's it. Does it go off after a while?

Yeah it usually stops after between 5 and 10 minutes after I've turned it off. I removed the sensor a few weeks ago and cleaned it and gave it a spray of WD40. The noise went for a while and came back again.
