1990 Caprice Classic No Running Tail Lights or Reverse But I Have Turn Signals

Asked by Jasonl1990 Jan 14, 2017 at 04:52 AM about the 1990 Chevrolet Caprice Classic Wagon RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1990 Chevy Caprice Classic Wagon. I was informed by my job
(delivery job) that I don't have running tail lights or reverse but I have turn
signals. I have a diagram for the fuses
Also bought extra tail lights ($5 at Pep Boys) in case of a burnt tail light.
What could it be? Wiring issue or should I just replace all my fuses and hope
for the best?

check the fuses ,replace the bulbs , then you'll need a multi tester to see if power is getting to the rear sockets ,check for a ground , these sockets get old and contacts are not made with the bulb ,wiggle the bulb and see if it comes on , . new sockets can be bought
