1990 k1500 5.7 tbi stalling around a half a tank of gas?

It only does this at a half a tank of gas. I stop and take off
it falls flat on its face no back fire no popin its like it runs
out of fuel. It has a brand new pump. It is puzzling becouse
it only does it at a half a tank any ideas

Track your miles per tank. The gas gauge might not be reading accurately. Hope that helps! Jim
