I have 94 chevy c1500 w/t and when put in gear and go to take off it acts like some the is holding it back it had been sitting for awhile and I replace the calibers both front ones
I have replaced both front calibers cause they were
ceased and also have backed the brakes shoes up a
little to see if the shoes was the problem and also
checked the trans fluids also when I let off the gas the
truck acts like the brakes are still ceased I have even
checked the front wheel bearings any input will be
greatly appreciated thank in advance
Possible break hoses to the calipers? Pump up your breaks with the front end off the ground and see if you can spin the wheels. Break hoses will break down from the inside out.
Thanks I will give that a shot and replace those are only 13.99 a piece for both front
If it's been sitting a while you might also check your fuel pump and filter.
Replace hoses to calipers. Internal rubber deteriorated and collects at piston opening. Plenty of pressure for braking but runout of calipers is what pushes back the fluid. Debris acts like a check valve
