Cab swop

I have a 2000 Chev single cab 2500 4×4 that was in
a roll over , can I swop the cab out with a 1996
Chev single cab 1500 2wd the body's are the same
is the wiring harness the same , and in not can it
work, ? will it work?

The cab should mount on the chassis no problem. Wiring harnesses will vary depending on the year, engine, transmission and other options such as AC, electric windows, etc. No easy answer for you.
