2000 Buick lesabre gauges

I have 2 count em 2 Buick lesabre customs both
2000, I have swapped the gauge clusters because
my better one didn't have the same options as my
old one and I wanted the old gauge cluster but now
things don't work and a friend recommended pcm
work but I have no clue how to go about this does
anyone know

I believe those clusters are programmed to the specific vehicle. Different options would not work. I don't thing reprogramming it would work either, they are set up to the cars vin number and the options it came with.

Reprogramming may be the solution. You need to find someone with a set of factory service manuals. As an example, Buick Reatta and Riviera (1986-1993) had onboard diagnostics and you could go in and change some things, one example....you can make the fog light into daylight running lamps but the BCM needs to be reprogrammed, and if you have the service manual, section 8 tells you how to do that.
