2003 Buick Century

Question type: Car Customization

I have a 2003 Buick century that had a motor oil
leak and one day on the way to the mechanic well
let's just say that my engine no longer works and
needs to be replaced. I was wondering if by chance
I could put an engine off of another Buick like the
regal or LeSabre maybe?

Sure ... if it's the exact same GM engine ,,, The biggest headache is if the engines not exact then the ECU (computer) won't be compatible

The Century and Regal during that time used the same body. Your Century came with a 3100 V6 but the Regal had a 3800 V6, If you went with the 3800 from a Regal or LeSabre at the very least you would also need the ECM that goes with the new engine. Unless you want a wiring nightmare, verify that the ECM in your Century have the same connectors as the new ECM.
