2003 Buick Century - Gauges won't work, now car won't start

Asked by JBW80 Jun 01, 2017 at 02:13 PM about the 2003 Buick Century Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2003 Buick Century, about a month ago
the gauges all stopped working, but would bounce
back and work again, all dashboard lights work.
About a week ago the gauges stopped working all
together and my doors wouldn't unlock or lock
when I would put it in drive or park. Today my car
started fine, drove it and then after I parked it, it
wouldn't start again. We tried to jump it, it still
won't start. I've been told it could be the PCM, the
cluster....etc. Anyone know enough about these
vehicles to give me and idea of what it could be
before I sink a bunch of money into it?

Thank you!

Need to check power and ground distribution. Check all fuses and and relays. Check pcm power relay and power distribution and grounds to junction block. Very possible it has gone into security as well.
