Alternator not charging battery

I have a 2000 chrysler town and country it will run
for a few after jumping but then dies. No lights
work nothing. It has a new alternator and battery.
What could be yhe problem. Is there a fuse? If so
where and what one

Yes there is and I would wire brush or take some sand paper to the battery ground wire. You may have to get your volt meter out and measure your voltages if the clean up and fuses check out o.k. Sometimes there are fusible links within the wiring itself that have issues. If so have a look there too. Simple continuity test for that. Good Luck!
