No start 07 Mitsu Outlander

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Mitsubishi Outlander 07 brand new battery
stopped for pizza tried to start car sounded like a
wrench was thrown in there entire car kicked too.
Sounded like machine gun fire.

I'm headed back to test battery with multi meter
and jump it. Trying to start it breaks my heart tho.
Auto zone said check Flexplate. Advice!?
