What years are interchangeable to a 2004 izuzu rodeo

1998 through 2003 were nearly identical. 2004 was when Isuzu and GM parted ways on the project and Isuzu introduced the Direct Injection engine. While the chassis is nearly identical, everything under the hood is unique to that year. My recommendation: Do not put any money into that 2004. Parts are difficult to find, the high-pressure fuel pump is prone to failure, and there is NO documentation for troubleshooting. I've owned a 1998, 1999, and a 2004. The earlier models are great. The 2004 is a dog.
