Pontiac G6 GTP brake lights on while driving?

We have a 2007 Pontiag G6 GTP and while driving the traction control light will
turn on and the brake lights will turn on as well, any time we reset the sensor
(by unplugging it and plugging it back in) it might be fine for a little bit then it just
turns back on again. What might be the issue here? Is it an easy fix?
