did you purchase?? is it being looked at right now? paint looks good.. like the owner cared for it and might have kept it garaged. look at all the fluids. oil check for normal smells and no bubbles of water. transmission fluid for red color; too much burnt fluid could cost a rebuild. coolant must be green; no brown in it. i see one steel wheel, ask what happened to the stock alloy rim; was there a curb hit??? how does the engine run? smooth? tapping noise? does the transmission shift through all gears? ..and gear shift is responsive; not delayed . on a hill climb or a overpass, does the engine pull the car on the climb without studdering? on start -up.. does the starter engage quick and engine briskly comes to life? fuel pump activates well & builds pressure to start immediately? ..if your fluids seem normal and the engine pulls good this car could be ok. at 20 years old, things are at the age where it could need major service. i heard the 2.8 v-6 is a very reliable engine to have; it can last .

Hey thanks for the response! Everything should be fine with the engine I am mostly worried about the convertible top and being able to see out the back window!! Oh well I'm sure all will be fine. I'm buying off a family friend so I know the car itself is reliable. Do u know what hub caps ide need to get? Just any old kind or one size in particular? And the car has some molding on the seatbelts in the back so what's the best way to get rid of that? Could I just pay the car retailers to give it a really good cleaning?

your welcome! maybe you can find a matching alloy wheel at the auto recycling center (aka parts yard or pick & pull)??? look at the tire, it will have a size like 225/65 R14. when you see the numbers, write it down and the RXX is the size of the rim in inches.also that is needed for hubcap size. how wide is also important. mis -matched wheels might give handling difficulties in critical situations. ..on the seat, mold must be removed ! i'd use carpet cleaner(i use armor all rug cleaner) to spray it and remove with a paper towel first. then use the vac on next spraying. you can bring it to a detailer, it costs some $$ but they have all the care products to make it clean. the window.. try plastic conditioner like armor all, or something similar. it could be very old and need help by the detailer. good luck & happy motoring!
