Where is the trailer receiving hitch stored in a Nissan xterra

The receiver that goes into the hitch. I know it is stored in the vehicle but I can't locate it

Just because a car has the receiver hitch at the rear bumper does not mean it comes with the hitch with a ball. Those you buy separately.

I realize that but when I bought it and the mechanic checked it out he showed it too me
