MX-5 stuck in 4th

I have an '07 MX-5 its got the auto and manual option transmission.  Driving
home tonight it got stuck in 4th while in auto.  I flipped it to manual and was
able to get it to shift down but it will not shift up past 4th gear in either mode.  
Any thoughts?????

check the transmission mount or mounts...and the engine mounts too...push up with a floorjack and note separation~
