2007 Trailblazer ss service charging system

I have a 2007 trailblazer ss. Battery light is on and
service charging system on dash. Replaced
alternator and battery and it is still doing it. Any info
on what to look at next

Need a volt meter to check it out. Not started, battery should be very close to 12V. Engine running, battery should be charging very close to 14V. Switch the VOM to AC volts then check battery with engine running, really shouldn't be more than 50mV or .05V. I've had bad alts right out of the box, diodes were throwing more than .05V or 50mV of AC volts, therefore not charging the battery properly.
