My 2000 Saturn SW2 has the "security" light remaining on and not allowing fuel to be dispensed

it might be that you just have to reset your security code on the stereo if a previous owner or you had inputted a code on your radio then it'll lock the radio out meaning no one can use it anymore unless you put the code back in I'm not sure about if it locked your car's ignition as well meaning you can't dispense the fuel from the fuel pump but it might be that you have to unlock the radio and in conjunction it'll unlock your car too so you can drive your car also check your fuses and relays and look for the code for your radio it's a theft deterrent radio code it might be written down in your glove box manual or you might have to go to a Chevy dealer to find information for your security code for your car.
