Gas tank door won't open

Did you try pulling on the gas tank release inside the car? If it is broken, then I'd remove the inner cargo panel on that side to see if you have access to pull on the cable manually until you can get it replaced.

TDolby is right but the cable is no long made I ran in to this with my brothers 1998 sw2 so if you can run the cable thought a spot on the left side that you can pull on it will work
