Did you check for spark? Are you sure your getting fuel?
I had the same issues with my 2001 Dodge Ram. I changed the fuel pump, spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributer cap and rotor, crank shaft position sensor, battery, starter. Gave up, had it towed to dealer... It was the ignition coil. Give that a try.
