2007 Chrysler Sebring heating issue

Asked by Sarah Feb 27, 2015 at 08:51 PM about the 2007 Chrysler Sebring Limited Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I live in Wisconsin and it is the middle of the
winter. Recently my 2007 Chrysler Sebring
began to blow out cold air instead of warm
intermittently. Then today as I was driving the
heat wouldn't work at all, and my engine heat
light came on and started beeping. I looked at
my dash gage and it said the engine was
overheating. As soon as I got on the highway
my heat began to work and my engine cooled
off. What do you think the issue is? Why did it
become resolved when I sped up? How can I fix
it?

It sounds like your thermostat is sticking or you have air in the cooling system. you also can have a leak.
