SOUNDS LIKE IT COULD BE A BAD FUEL PUMP, YOU NEED NEED TO HAVE THE PRESSURE CHECKED !

if you don't have any tools to use to check that your getting a spark take a Phillips head screwdriver and remove one of the spark plug wires from one of the spark plugs gently insert the screwdriver in to the end of the wire that pops on to the spark plug and with out touching the car with the screwdriver hold it very close to the engine or the car body with out touching it, while holding it close meaning like 1/8" or less have someone turn the key to start the car, now you will need to be watching very closely to the part of the screwdriver thats closest to the block where your holding it closest and look for a small electric arc jumping from the screwdriver to the block ( simular to rubbing your feet on carpet and then touching someone or something and making that spark ) if you are getting the spark ( AKA getting fire ) place the wire back on the plug and repeat the process for every wire. no spark means your spark plugs wont ignite the gas that's being sprayed in to the compression chambers. if you are getting fire and your still not cranking up and running the engine I would see if your fuel pump took a poop. you need AIR, FUEL, SPARK to run the engine so one of those isn't doing its job. lol

if electrical is flicking, it could be the alternator or electrical wiring issue. could also be simply a bad fuse. have someone check fuses first in any case, most times the problem is that simple.
