where is the fuel filter located?

just bought a 2006 sportage having a fuel issue and want to change the filter
first cause i know it hasnt been done before

The fuel filter is part of the fuel pump assembly inside the fuel tank and not a serviceable item. Most newer vehicles are going this route.
