The closed system will have to be evacuated with special equipment to avoid releasing refrigerant into the atmosphere- this is a job for pros with the proper (expensive) machinery- you can do it yourself, but I can not responsibly advise it- this is a public forum, and you should not be trying to further destroy the ozone layer around our planet-
