2007 Cadillac CTS traction control and abs sensor

Asked by Trfull Mar 24, 2019 at 10:54 PM about the 2007 Cadillac CTS 3.6L RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2007 Cadillac CTS 3.6
manual, and the traction control and
abs light won’t turn off. In the past
they would turn off after the car was
shut off and turn back on after I hit
the first bump. But now they are
permenantly on. I am just trying to
figure out if there is a way to turn
them off or disable them, not
necessarily diagnose and fix the
actual problem. Thanks for the help

Hey I also have a 2007 CTS a same problem with the TC and ABS light it's caused by a malfunctioning wheel speed sensor particularly the front left wheel speed sensor in my car , I just found out yesterday I'm going to have to replace the entire will because ithe center is part of the hub. . I'm just wondering if you found a solution to disable the lights without fixing the issue?
