Im replacing the brake booster on my 2000 jaguar
s type. Whats the difference between a booster
with vehicle dynamics control and one without?  
And does it really matter if you use the booster
without vdc?

The vehicle dynamics booster is computer controlled. To my knowledge they are not interchangeable. I realize the car is 18 years old, but if you cannot afford to maintain it properly, you should consider a lower cost car. Jags of any type were never cheap

All I asked was what's the difference between brake boosters. Cuz u can buy 1 with vcd and one without. A brake booster having to be replaced isn't normal matenaince. Price was never brought up once in my ques.

Sorry, I wasn't referring to normal maintenance. I was referring to any maintenance. I still recommend you replace your booster with a like unit.
