96 blazer won't start

96 blazer 4.3 won't start. Changed
distributor. Quad checked tdc. Oil smelled
like gas. Drained that out. Turns over just
won't start

Sounds like it could be a fuel issue. Should check fuel pressure at the Schrader valve on the intake, it should be 56 to 63 lbs. Then do a fuel bleed down test to check for leaks in the spider assembly, by building up fuel pressure with the gauge still installed, turn the key off, the fuel pressure gauge should not drop more that 5 lbs. in three minutes. If it does then the fuel injection spider assembly should be changed out as a hole unit.
