2006 Jeep Commander over heated now wont stay running more than a minute.

jeep over heated then wouldnt start again. water pump,was replaced the wheel hub spark plugs and coil packs were all changed and car wont stay running/idleing for even a minute.

depending on how hot you got the motor you might have wrapped or cracked the head or damaged the head gasket.

Need to know what engine and if engine is getting hot, or if it just dies with no apparent overheating. If it's getting hot and stopping and then will not restart or starts with significant engine upon start up you probably have big problems. If it's not overheating and will restart when it sits for a short period and runs for a short time it's probably and crank shaft speed sensor.
