Question type: Maintenance & Repair

In times of transitional weather (spring and fall) when the temps are in the
low 30's and the humidity is high my 06' Nissan Xterra has problems starting
on the first try. The starter is working, battery is fine. Starts on the 3rd to 6th
attempt and is usually fine the rest of the day. Mostly happens in the
morning and if the vehicle is in the shade. Happens in the afternoon if a cold
and humid weather front moves in.

clearly there is a high-voltage leak...might start with your battery...be sure that we've got 12 or 12.5 volts~ next power to the coil...ok, the secondary side (high voltage is leakin, through the wires...get NEW silicone wires...NOT butyl rubber...it's the stingy man who pays the most~
