Tuning an Automatic Miata 5

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Dont know much abkut cars at the moment but was just
wondering if its a good idea to start off with a 2000 Mazda
Miata MX-5, with an automatic transmission and tune it
and modify it. Is it worth it or do I really need to get a
manual to see any performance gain. (Please dont be a
douche and just say "get a manual") I just want to know the
pros and cons of modifying an automatic Miata. Thanks in
advance

Of course you can mod an automatic Miata but a manual car will be more satisfying. I would post this question on a Miata forum.
