How to reset immobilizer activated in a touareg 2004?

My Touareg car key fell on the floor i tried to start my car with it and immobilizer
activated was displayed on my dashboard. i tried my spare key which i didn't
use for almost 2 year and the car didn't start also. i tired removing the earth
cable for like 10 minutes and put it back again and still immobilizer activated
flashing on the dashboard? Any suggestion on how to start my car or reset it?

Were you able to find a solution? I'm currently experiencing the same problem on the same yr Toureg.
