I have my 96 vw gti 4 cylinder 2.0 what can I do to make it sounds meaner

Common courtesy dictates that you keep it quiet as possible, out of respect for your neighbors and fellow motorists. You are not impressing anybody with a 'meaner' sound, only irritating.

lol jsut put a magnaflow exaust on it it will get the mean sound if you get the right system, not to mention it makes it run smoother and gives it a few more horses
