yellow oil light is on constantly

start the car. the yellow light comes on and stays on, oil is full

it just so happens i have a new one, i was going to swap out today thanks

Use a mechanical oil pressure gauge to verify the actual oil pressure.

By the way.. it smokes light blue on start up no matter the temp.then stops after a few seconds

thanks guys... i will check all and replace 02 i will let you know what happens..

A yellow oil light? It means you are a quart low. If you say the oil is filled, then I would suspect a faulty oil level sensor. A faulty O2 sensor will trip the Check engine light.
