I pumped 2 gallon 87 octane in my 2002 ml430 accidentally, then stopped and filled it up with 93 octane, next thing I noticed while driving is the check engine yellow light on in the dash board

I doubt the CEL has anything to do with the 2 gallons of regular. Have the trouble codes read to know what the issue is. Fill up with premium when you get a chance.
