Where is the Radio antenna

Asked by Irish69 Mar 01, 2010 at 12:51 PM about the 1998 Mercedes-Benz M-Class ML 320 4MATIC

Question type: General

I'm only getting four FM stations and no AM stations. I found the reset button on the radio and hit for the required time and that didn't work. I'm asking where the antenna is located.  Bill

The antenna is on the back of the top of the tailgate. It is a short little antenna on a small box. I asked someone at the dealership and they said most of the time if you are driving in the city, you should not have a problem. Once you hit a more rural area, the antenna being at the back might have problem receiving stations. I don't know if there is much you can do about this...
