Sometimes when you stop the car, especially if it's on an incline, the wheels will load the steering wheel lock causing the key not to turn. Try unloading the wheel lock by attempting to turn the wheel at the same time you turn the key...try both ways on the steering wheel as sometimes it's hard to tell which way the wheels are loading the steering wheel lock...also lube the ignition key lock with some spray lube ( WD40, etc) as this may help.
