I have a 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 with a 5.9 automatic
trans, I bought a 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 with a 5
speed, will the 5 speed bolt up to the 5.9 or will I need a
new flywheel and what else?

short answer...yes Long answer, do yourself a favor n buy a new flywheel to go along with your new clutch assy, old flywheels, even those that get resurfaced usually suffer from old hot spots causing the new clutch to shudder. Also, replace the seals, otherwise I've found yule be incessantly adding oil to your new NV3500/NV4500 (depending on your poison)...all the time. One thing I discovered rather painfully meself, these new venture trannys like their lube, even a little low can be disastrous... ask me how I know, lol!
