Check or replace the temperature sending unit on the engine, c if that helps.
If your heater hoses and radiator hoses are not getting hot then you would need a thermostat. Could also be the temperature sending unit as Mikbek indicates.
I have a 01 Malibu the temperature gauge stop working but the coolant level is still good I'm worried what can the cause be and is there any solution and ways to trouble shoot?
