Could the issue be AC Clutch?

Asked by Widowed Jun 23, 2020 at 03:03 PM about the 2006 Honda CR-V SE AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2006 honda crv. Once in awhile when I turn
the ac on, it does not blow at all. When this
happens, the air will suddenly kick in and start
blowing. Sometimes the air blows warm. I turn the
air off and right back on and it freezes you out of
the car. Could this be the ac clutch? The blower
was replaced a year and a half ago.

Checking the symptoms of blower motor resistor, it is not the same issues I described. Thanks anyway

Im trying an experiment and think it may really be the ac module knobs. Reason being for 2 days now I have not turned off the air at all, but leave it on and when the car starts it blows good cold air with no hesitation or issues. Gonna try it a few more days to be sure then get it to the mechanic and let them know.
