Check engine/ service soon

So I’m totally lost on my 2002 Chevy trailblazer. Do
they only have “Service Engine Soon” for the
check engine light or does it have a separate
check engine light?

Your owners manual should show your instrument cluster. Check engine lamp and service engine soon should be the same thing. You'll probably have one of those designations but not both. Your owners manual says one of those designations is for US, the other one is for Canada. my.gm.com should have your owners manual, if you don't have one. it's free to read online.

The "service engine soon" IS the "check engine light". Plug a scanner into the OBDII to get the codes.
