06 Ford F-150 5.4L 3v

I have a 06 f150 5.4L 3v when I accelerate in any
gear it bogs at and back fires I have to easily
accelerate to get up to speed I heard it was the
converters deleted them but I didn’t put the o2
sensors back in I heard it was the mass air flow so
I replaced t with a motor craft one I’m getting the
plugs done here shortly but if the problem
continues what else could it be?

I had a 2007 F150 with the same engine doing the same thing. If I accelerated quick it won't do much, I had to push the gas slowly and gradually. I changed the coil packs and it fixed it. Since you are getting the plugs done, replace the coil overs as well and be done with. I bought the from 1AAuto for about $90 shipped.

Removing the cat and O2 sensors means the computer has no way to properly meter fuel. Put it back together and it will run right. The days of desmogging an engine to make it run better were over back in the 70's.
