2001 Ford f150 2wd 4.6

I have a 2001 ford f150 4.6 2wd never had a
transmission problem ever never sliped and
one day I was drive-in down the road and D
and OD IT WAS like it went in to N 1st and
2nd and R work great but it won't go into D
are OD and now it Makin noise from the
transmission pump and there was no metal
in the pan and the fluid was great not burnt I
used a carmd and no codes come up ?

Had a similar problem with a 96, except it affected reverse. Tranny guy said it was the reverse band. Have a pro do the repairs.
